We have partnered with leading second-hand fashion platform Vestiaire Collective. Rediscover Vintage is a "Professional Seller" awarded with the "Expert Seller" badge, a badge that is awarded only to the most trustworthy and active sellers on the platform.
The Expert Seller badge is the assurance for you that in the last six months:
- The seller has had at least 5 successful sales in the last 6 months
- At least 90% of their items matched their descriptions
- 100% of their items were genuine.
- They sent at least 90% of their items within 5 days
Rediscover Vintage is currently ranked the Top 45 Worlwide Seller on the platform.
You are welcome to purchase any item from our Vestiaire Collective store where Vestiaire Collective will be a third-party authenticator. Every item will be checked physically and guaranteed a second-level of authenticity by authenticators at Vestiaire Collective.
Please note delivery time will be prolonged as items purchased through Vestiaire Collective are sent from Rediscover Vintage to Vestiaire Collective for authentication before it gets sent to you.
We are also happy to provide photos to other third-party authenticators to arrange a certificate of authenticity from a third-party source at the buyer's expense.
Step 1: Inspection
Each piece is first examined in hand. We assess materials, construction, stitching, hardware, proportions, and wear patterns to confirm that all physical elements are consistent with the design. This inspection is carried out by our in-house authenticator, with over ten years of experience working with vintage designer handbags.
Step 2: Verification
Once the physical details are confirmed, we verify the bag’s origin. Serial numbers, labels, linings, and interior finishes are cross-checked against brand references to identify the collection, production period, and design context. This step ensures the bag is not only authentic, but correctly dated and attributed.
Step 3: Authentication
Our in-house process is reinforced by years of platform-based authentication. We have completed over 8,000 authenticated sales through established resale platforms, including Vestiaire Collective, where each item is independently reviewed. This experience provides an additional layer of validation behind every piece we offer.
