Balenciaga City Bag
The Balenciaga Motorcycle City bag – a classic, easy-to-wear logoless bag with a relaxed structure that can not only withstand scuffs but is made to endure and look great with them. Originally designed by Nicholas Ghesquière in 2001, its design wasn't immediately embraced by the executives due to its distinct lack of structure. Legend has it that when Kate Moss came to visit the studio she noticed the bag sitting on the side and personally requested one from Mr. Ghesquière. Soon 25 sample pieces were sent to models and fashion insiders and well, the rest is fashion history.
